S5 seeks to end most classic grinding problems that have frustrated players for the last twenty years while adding in new features such as Affixes on items and the Astral boat to travel the world!

Companions

Hopies always had a special place in our hearts, but they can now have a special place in our parties!
Companions are small pets that will follow you on your journey, but that’s not all: they also increase your char’s weight capacity, allowing you to make more gold than ever. You can also customize your pet with premium skins and a nickname of your choice - but if that isn’t enough for you, just grind to level 102 and we’ll give you a hot pet skin as S5’s seasonal reward.

Rewarding Active Players

Season 5 is tackling “AFK PLAY” with another round of complete monster & character rebalancing - enabling active, skillful players to compete better against long playtime sessions. The most noticeable change is that all maps from Greedy Lake and above now have ranged mobs with a higher range than self-centered skills such as Diastrophism and Divine Lightning. Demi-bosses (the biggest, rarest mob on the map) are also tougher and stronger than ever, also dealing AoE damage to idle party players. This gives room for a new playing style: the chaser, who is responsible for upkeeping the party’s EXP/H by taking down ranged mobs and protecting teammates from demi-bosses. Actually, chasers with a full 1v1 build can get so strong that they can speed up their parties’ EXP without ever casting a single AoE skill. Your power will be over 9000!

During season 5 you can work towards completing achievements. These achievements will grant you in-game rewards that will transfer to Babel the main server after the season ends. We have rewards for all players that can reach the to be announced levels. As well as bonus rewards for the top 3 players of each class!

Season 3 is also a great moment to take our time to improve class balance. Minimum to Maximum values refer to rank 1 versus rank 10. All skills have had a 10% stamina cost reduction and most skills have had a slight mana increase or decrease depending on their new position in the skill tiers.
